Jack is a 13 year old black Irish cob who has been owned by me for 6 years. In this time he has been used in a riding school and has been ridden and very much loved by all ages. Jack enjoys hacking and has been ridden over the hills in open spaces and also been ridden around the lanes. He enjoys jumping and has done some cross country with his previous owner. He would suit someone who wants a fun all rounder. He is best suited to someone who is confident and wants to have fun. He goes nicely in the school and will walk trot and canter, but is no dressage horse! However he does have a wonderful balanced canter and a lovely jump.
He can VERY occasionally spook in the school but is not difficult if you are confident. He only spooked after a nesting pigeon kept flying over his head which I think is understandable and I’m just being honest!
Jack has been a pleasure to own and never been difficult he is easy to catch, barefoot with great feet and good with the farrier, loads in a trailer and doesn’t mind a busy yard with vehicles around him.
