Advert Description

Solid Sterling Silver pendant - hardly worn and in great condition.
The first hallmark is the maker's mark (JD) - James Dixon & Sons.
The second hallmark is a rose which shows us it was made in Sheffield.
The Britannia hallmark replaced the lion mark on some items.
The letter C relates to the year 1977 (hence the Queen's head below).
The Queen's mark was a special commemorative mark in 1977 to celebrate the 25th anniversary (silver jubilee) of her ascension to the throne.
