Zebidee is a proven ram - having serviced ewes each year so they have successfully had twins or single lambs.
Due to his very unusual, magnificent colouring, his lambs will be all different colours, each one individual in character as well as their beautiful looks.
Soay Sheep are fantastic grass cutters!
They will work hard, keeping your grass well cut, 24/7!
Soay self moult, so do not need shearing.
You will need a land CPH number. These can be obtained easily online. You also need animal transport. We can help for local transport, for cost.
Your field must be stock fenced - again do get in touch to discuss if you are unsure.
Soay require a good water supply, & shade - they like to stay out in winter, so may need extra hay if the ground is covered with snow.
They are a natural, beautiful, relatively easy breed, needing regular checking as all animals do - but you will want to do that, to see how rewarding they are when they come running to munch their sheep nuts!
