i broke the plastic turn knob off and paid £40 for a new one. Replacing each wire as I put it on.

When you open it up, it wasn’t necessary. Cut a slot across the top, a screwdriver will do the job well.
Throw or see if anyone needs one urgently?
postage will be £3, sorry, can’t help that.
