Advert Description

This pond yacht (early 1900's) was purchased from an antiques fair as a bare hull.
The hull is carved/shaped from solid wood has a heavy lead keel.

The hull has been re-decked with pearwood planking and the hardwood mast and boom benefit from brass fittings.

The brass rudder is controlled from the ships wheel and can be set in position with a brass pin (prior to launching).

The sails have been professionally made from light sail cloth and are double hemmed and batoned for strength and authenticity.

Although the yacht has been rigged to sail it is primarily a display piece.

The two rulers in the picture are each 1M long and are there to give a perception of the height and width of the yacht.

The yacht includes a purpose built stand for display purposes.

Thanks for looking.
