Sad sale of our lovely 14hh Welsh Sec C mare, 7 years old; by Fronarth Rossi. Brought on slowly after having a foal as a 4-year-old. We have owned Lucky for 2 years and she has gone from a just backed youngster to a fun all round pony. Taking part in riding club training, clinics, fun rides, regular lessons, and local shows – always a pleasure to take out. Still green jumping as daughter prefers flatwork, poles and hacking, but always willing when we have jumped her.
Easy to do, will live in or out, with mares or geldings. Hacks out on her own of in company, great in traffic. Travels in a trailer, good with the farrier, teeth; needs sedating to be clipped. Always ridden in a snaffle and never strong. This mare has done everything we have asked of her, never any trouble and very good to handle.
For sale as eldest daughter has outgrown her and I am too tall for her – if she was bigger, she would have a home for life. Not a novice ride due to age and only ever been ridden by confident experienced riders. Best suited to an experienced all-round home for someone that wants to go out and have fun; competent teenager/petite adult. She is a completely unspoilt pony and ready for someone to produce further. She does have two small skin tags around eye – these have not changed in the time we have had her (can provide photos). Sold with saddle and rugs.
