Reliable campervan, MOT to February 2025. We've enjoyed many trips in her all over the country from Scottish mountains, to Devonshire lanes to lovely Peak District travels. We've just bought a new van to convert so we can have a fixed bed for us and seats for the grandchildren. Our lovely old van needs a new home.
She's packed with the space saving and storage features you'd expect of an autosleeper. Everything is in working order. 3 way fridge, gas oven and hob, cassette toilet, sink in kitchen area, sink and shower in washroom. Upholstery still in good condition. 3 belted front facing seats and a 3 seater settee. The passenger seat swivels. The settee pulls out to make a large double bed, extra cushions make it a king size bed or there is a one or two single bed arrangement.
The exterior looks great, most of the sills have been replaced or repaired to keep them in good condition. The chassis is sound. There are some advisories, check the MOT online, and a leak which can cause water to come in from the top of the windscreen if moving in driving rain. We think we know the cause of this, which could cost around £600 to be fixed by a garage.
The petrol engine means it's more environmentally friendly than a similar aged diesel, but less powerful. There is a lack of pull when going up hill, but there's never been a hill that we haven't been able to drive up slowly. There is power steering, a rear view and parking camera and air-ride suspension.
She'll make a great van for a person or couple who want some fun travels without having to spend a fortune on a newer vehicle and we have priced her to reflect her age, excellent condition and the repair work needed.
