This beautiful plate was made at Plateelfabriek Zuid-Holland in the period 1915 - 1919 and is therefore over 100 years old. The diameter is 18 cm and it is 3 cm high. The painter is Dirk Jacobus Cornelis Verhaar (born 1879) who worked at the factory from 1898 -1901 and from 1915 - 1919. Before that he worked for the Rozenburg pottery factory in The Hague. The board has some light scratches but is otherwise in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
