The antique, Victorian necklace is made of 585 = 14 carat yellow gold. Since it is not hallmarked, I gave it to the master goldsmith to be checked professionally and he confirmed to me that it is made of 14 karat yellow gold (the clasp and the cuffs for the cord chain are also 14 karat).
The necklace consists of a magnificently reliefed central part with a central garnet rosette made of blood-red Bohemian garnets in antique rose cut. The suspensions are slightly different grey-white river pearls and a tassel-shaped, reliefed gold suspension.
The middle part is hung in a corded dark yarn strand with gold cuffs and a cylindrical gold buckle.
All parts are antique and original. Very rare version in very good, well-kept condition.
