The burning heart symbolizes Mary's love for Jesus.

The adoration of the Immaculate (= without original sin) Heart of Mary is derived from the veneration of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and flourished in the nineteenth century, among other things through the proclamation of the dogma of the Immaculate Conception of Mary in 1854.

This statue in zamac is completely intact, has a beautiful patina and shows signs of use in accordance with its age.

The base of the statue is decorated with floral motifs and has lion's feet.
