The MGB was released as a two-door sports car produced from 1962 to 1980 by the British Motor Corporation (BMC), later by the Austin-Morris division of British Leyland as a four-cylinder sports car with a soft-top. Other variants followed such as the MGB GT three-door 2+2 coupé (1965-1980), the six-cylinder sports car and coupé MGC (1967-1969), and the eight-cylinder 2+2 coupé, the MGB GT V8 (1973-76).
To replace the MGA in 1962, production of the MGB and its variants continued until 1980. Sales of the MGB, MGC and MGB GT V8 together amounted to 523,836 cars.
The development of the MGB began as early as 1958 with the prototype known as Abingdon; MG EX205. In terms of structure, the car was seen as a progressive, modern design in 1962.
The colour combination of this MG B is very tasteful, the bodywork is painted in Racing Green. A very nice contrast with the black interior. The interior is in good condition.
This B Roadster was originally delivered new in California. And the car has had a Dutch registration since 1996. The MG comes with a folder with various documents. This includes the original American title, history, and a photo report of the restoration.
This MG is in excellent condition and was restored in the Netherlands in 1994. The bodywork is solid and the paint is still in fair condition. Various spots with minor damage, which is normal for its age.
Beautiful options such as the Mini lite wheels, the cover of the convertible top, the luggage rack, and a classic radio complete the car.
