"The ROY having kindly agreed, Sir, to grant Sr. de CRESSY, captain of the Poitou infantry regiment, a place at the Hôtel des Invalides in consideration of his services, His Majesty's intention is that you have him received there when "He will give you this letter with his Patents and Commissions to be registered at the Hotel. I have the honor to be perfectly, Sir, your very humble and very obedient servant."
