An extremely rare and refined 18 carat 750/1000 women's ring with a compartment with a well-closing hinged lid made of extremely finely detailed filigree.
The compartment is intended for a cloth soaked in essential oil or perfume, to spread the scent.
Also called "DIFFUSER" usually known as a pendant but very hard to find as a ring
(so not suitable for ashes due to the open connection of the filigree)
Presumably France around 1900.
Equipped with official Dutch calibration marks.
Comes in the pictured luxury case.
