Hamlet Armas (b.1989) is a professional artist with advanced studies in painting and engraving. His works have been exhibited at important contemporary art events such as the Havana Art Biennial. His work has been exhibited in NYC, Madrid and Bonn, being acquired by collectors such as MoMA and the Sandra Levinson Foundation.
He currently resides in Spain and in his recent work he explores feelings such as loneliness or the sensation of existential emptiness through urban landscapes turned into abstractions of simple shapes and colors.
