Rare collector's item in earthenware from Apt, 18th century, in mixed earth. Covered pot, candy box, placed on 3 feet decorated with acanthus leaves, lid decorated with a carnation with foliage. Very good overall condition. From a private collection. The pottery of Apt and Castellet in Provence, is famous in the Art of mixed earths. Antique shaped pieces are extremely rare and hard to find in good condition.
Note a very small lack on the lower edge of the lid - see photos.
