Rev. D. Landsborough
20 hand coloured plates are exceptionally appealing
Hardcover: Attractive red cloth boards with large, bold gilt decorative sea anemone on front & with title, author and decorative design, also in gilt on spine.
Minor bumping at corners of boards; plus some rubbing on them and on the spine but remarkably 'unaged' feel and look, foxing at their edges.
In general, the text on the pages remains clean and the 20 hand illustrated plates are exceptionally appealing - often without any or with very little foxing.
Ex library copy: indicated by small and faint embossed logo on ffep
404 pages, 160 x 130mm.
