Emilio Mortini utilise principalement des matériaux contemporains comme la résine et l’aluminium, mais également le marbre, la pierre et le bronze.3
La première exposition d’Emilio Mortini a eu lieu à New York en 1994, quand une sélection de ses sculptures a été incluse dans une exposition collective à la galerie Red Grooms City.
