Johan Willem Friso, Prince of Orange and Nassau (1687-1711) was stadholder of Friesland and Groningen (1696-1711).
Portrait in armor. Among them are halberds, cannons, flags and a representation of his drowning death.
Engraved by the German Johannes Ammann. Reverse side not printed.
Appeared after 1720.

Condition: Very good.

Drawn and engraved by Bernard Picart. Reverse side not printed.
Appeared in 'History of the United Netherlands, from the beginning of that Republyk until the Treaty of Utrecht in the year 1713 and the Treaty of Barriere concluded in the year 1715.' (3 volumes) by Jean le Clerc, published by Zacharias Chatelain in Amsterdam in 1730.
