Separate half titles for each section. Main text in double columns with Greek and English parallel texts. Decorated by publisher's device on title page and as colophon at end. Surviving fragments, written in Greek, from Phoenician, Chaldaean, Egyptian, Tyrian, Persian and Carthaginian authors, with English translations. Compiled by Isaac Cory Preston (1810-42). An early publication of William Pickering (1796-1854). 1828 was the year of first use of the Aldine device and this title includes both Keynes' types i and ii (Keynes, William Pickering Publisher, p. 61) 67566347
