Imported from the USA in 1999, it was fully restored by an enthusiastic Jaguar collector who spent a few years making it look like new. The restoration was documented with over 200 photos and included all the bodywork, mechanical and interior features.
The car has been used since then for rallies and Sunday rides and is now in splendid condition.
The bodywork has been nitro painted and still looks shiny, it has very minor signs of use that are barely visible, but overall it is fit for competition.
The interior is splendid, having been rebuilt by the Italian company Ferraresi and always used with seat covers.
The mechanical system, although perfectly functional, has recently been revised by specialists of the brand and can be used with no further work required.
Each component is of the highest quality and there are no modifications to report.
The model is rare as it is a Special Equipment version with 180 hp, double exhaust and wire wheels.
The Jaguar Heritage certificate is included and testifies that all main elements (chassis, engine, gearbox) match, only the exterior colour of the car does not match as it was produced in white but existed on the model back in those years.
The car performs well on the road and is ready to be driven in classic car races.
