In 1965, the New 500 F, heir to the 'D', was presented. The most obvious new feature is the change in door opening to meet the new safety requirements of the highway code. In the 'D', the doors were hinged at the rear (suicide doors).
From the F version onwards, they are hinged at the front and in the first months of production with 8 bolts per door, hence the term 'Otto Bulloni' (8-bolt), which distinguished the first Fs from March 1965 until approximately November 1965.
This version is very sought since it was only manufactured for a few months.
This car is number 11,343 of the 'Otto Bulloni' series, of which around 230,000 were produced and this is one of the earliest, with a very low circulation.
The car was restored a few years ago. The bodywork looks very good, when opening the boot you can see the damaged interior, it shows no rust, a small dent visible in the front right wheel arch and typical signs of time.
The interior has been refurbished, it has a nice accessory of the time, the original and working steering lock.
The last inspection was carried out on 18/07/2015 as per the booklet on the photo (it will be repeated after the sale), it was regularly driven until 2017, and afterwards it made small trips in a village.
The engine and electrical system was serviced on 02/02/2023,
after the restoration it was always kept in a garage and was used very little.
Sound bottom and chassis.
Mechanically it works fine, the engine is very good, the gearbox is still the original 4-speed non-synchronised one. The electronics are all serviced and working, the tyres are at 80%.
The original number plate and original documents of the time are included.
Included are even most of the yearly tax stamps of the time, original booklet and certificate of ownership.
