Catawiki’s goal is to make special objects universally available. Our weekly auctions feature thousands of unusual, rare, and exceptional objects you won’t find in just any store. Finely cast antique table frame in solid brass with a very ornate design, featuring St George and the Dragon, geometrical openwork, and decorative floral motifs. It could be used to display pictures, or to hold a small mirror. It bears no maker's mark, but it was made in England, and dates from the Victorian period.

It is in good condition overall, with normal signs of wear and use commensurate with age. The original screws/tags to hold the picture in place are not present, though, and will need to be replaced. It remains structurally sound, and in good working order.

It measures approximately H33cm x D21cm, and the opening is H13cm x D9cm. It weighs 620g.

Please note that no mirror or glass are included. 67140657
