All-round sculpture in gilded bronze with mercury representing a grace with a book and nature, in full Academic Style of 19th century France and signed Moreau at the base. math. on the right and Gélot. edit. on the left.

The sculpture represents a woman or a grace in neoclassical style with a dress leaning on a cylindrical column and with a book in her hand. The column is enriched with flowers, bunches of grapes and racemes and a little bird. Ellipsoidal base worked as if it were a ground and a groove on the band.

The sculpture is of excellent workmanship: the drapes, the details, the anatomies and the representation are of quality. Mercury gilding, various stages of processing and polishing.
In excellent general condition and patina, light scattered oxidation and slight lack of gilding in some places.
