Half leather binding from the 19th century, spine with raised bands with title and gold decorations. This important treatise by Turrecremata was widely circulated. Juan de Torquemada, who died in 1468, is considered the most outstanding theologian of his time and as a defender of the principle of pontifical authority. Uncommon Brescian incunabulum, notes of ownership and old French library stamp on the title, note of ownership canceled in the lower margin of the first sheet of the Prologue, some red spots, ancient restoration on the corners of the last two leaves, slight damp mark on some sheets.
