Over the years I have combined my training in Textile Work Forms with making mosaics, and I now use countless materials in my works.
I made this unique object by Marilyn on a facet cut glass plate with a thickness of 4 MM and attached a wooden profile to the back so that the glass plate hangs 2.5 CM from the wall.
The surrounding edge therefore remains transparent, so that the work adapts effortlessly to any interior.
The work consists of 400 squares of ± 2.7 CM that are filled with: charms, beads, chain, cord, shells, mini tiles, pegs, locks, keys, hearts, flowers, etc. etc. which I then place in the perfect color sprayed / painted.
