Designed by Jean-Baptiste Emile Dropsy (1858-1923), this very finely detailed piece would have been sold by the best Paris retailers and is typical of his work, depicting an Art Nouveau maiden with long, flowing hair enjoying the scent of a flowers.

Secured by a little c clasp at the reverse which is just as detailed and pretty.

Dating from the late 1800’s, signed E. Dropsy on the front part of the border and just a fraction below 2.2 cm around.
