The classic Louis-Philippe secretaire is an old piece of furniture, functional, mixing chest of drawers and desk.
It also remains very contemporary with its straight lines and veneer effects.
The Louis-Philippe high secretary with drawers and flap is a storage unit that can also be used for writing and correspondence. It found its place in the bedroom or in the living room of the bourgeois interiors of the middle of the 19th century.
The top of the secretary is crowned by an ogee cornice on which rests a dark gray Saint-Anne marble top.
