Martinus Johannes de Jongh was a South African/Dutch painter.
In his Amsterdam period he was also an etcher.
His first success was when the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam bought one of his first paintings.
In 1921 he emigrated to South Africa and settled in Cape Town. 67502171
