This ring was made in the goldsmith workshops of Alessandria (Italy) in the 70s
It is an oval ruby stopped with 6 0.40 carat white gold clasps
Around the ruby there is a kind of white gold knot where two rows of 12 diamonds each have been inserted (brilliant cut, G color, VS clarity) for a total of 0.20 carats.
Finger size 18 (European 58), weight 4 grams.
Colored stones are commonly treated to improve their quality, this has not been tested to that effect
