Albert Stepanovich Papikian (1926 Armenia -1997 Moscow). Signed. [People's Artist of Russia. Still at school, Albert Papikian won the competition of the USSR trade unions and the right to study at the Moscow School of Painting for gifted children. His works include portraits, landscapes, and subject paintings. He studied at the Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, where B. Ioganson was his teacher. In 1949 he joined the Artists Union and to hold exhibitions. At the Moscow Academy of Arts in 2000, a large posthumous exhibition took place. His works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the Museum of the Academy of Arts and the Navy Museum in Saint Petersburg, and in art galleries in many Russian cities]
