Beautiful perspective view of the large courtyard of the Doge's Palace, seat of the Doge (the highest institutional office in the city), in the San Marco district (you can see the unmistakable Arabian domes of the Basilica) in the Serenissima city of Venice, a maritime republic, crossroads of peoples and trade.

Etching and burin on laid and watermarked paper, blank verso, good margins (the upper one trimmed on the typing), usual editorial folds, nice modern colouring. Wonderful impression.
