13.13. originally comes from the street art scene of the 2000s. You can still see that today. His art is a wild mixture of graffiti elements, wild colour combinations and well-known pop culture motifs. Faces like Frida Kahlo, Nick Cave or Steve McQueen serve as stencils on 13.13.'s canvases. They all get a treatment in the finest street art manner. They get spray paint in the eye, fish in the face and cracks across the head. Nevertheless, they are never defaced. One thing is clear: even today, urban space, the imperfect, is always part of his art.
