The term bohemian crystal refers specifically to
crystal of excellent quality produced in the
region of Bohemia in the Czech republic.
It was in the court of Prague in the 17th to the 19th centuries where they reached a higher boom, using led glass, more suited to the effect than the Venetian glass. In the nineteenth century they reached their zenith, carrying out works like this, of great preciosity and detail, although rarely in large pieces.
