Carlos Asensio was born in Castellón in 1986. He has a degree in Fine Arts and a Master's Degree in Artistic Production from the Polytechnic University of Valencia where he is doing a PhD program in Art and Production. He has also completed a Studio Program at the Berlin Art Institute where he received master classes from Bernhard Martin or Larissa Fassler among others.

To his credit, several individual exhibitions stand out, among which it is worth mentioning those carried out at the Tomás y Valiente Art Center in Fuenlabrada, at the Municipal Museum of Albacete and the Center 14 in Alicante. As for group shows, he has exhibited both nationally and in Europe. During 2022 in two editions of the GlogauAIR Open Studios or BAAM#3 at Monopol Berlin. The traveling exhibition entitled Atlas of Spanish Art carried out in 2021 in the Mauro Muriendas Hall in Torrelavega and the O Vello Cárcere Cultural Center in Lugo. The various exhibitions carried out that same year with the Infinity Art project at fairs such as the Affordable Art Fair in Amsterdam, Art Madrid or Estampa in the Spanish capital. The collective exhibition 2019_n3 at Piramidón Center D'Art Contemporani in Barcelona, the Art Spring 2019 event held in Berlin, several editions of Mars International Contemporary Art Fair of Castelló, the III Ciutat Vella Oberta Arts Biennial in Valencia, the II Call of La New Fair in Madrid or the traveling project Figurama 10.

In addition, some of his pieces are present in important private collections such as the European Museum of Modern Art and Piramidón Center D'Art Contemporani in Barcelona, the Sicilian Contemporary Art Museum in Catania and public institutions such as the Museu de la Ciutat de Castelló. At a private level, his work is present in collections in Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Sweden, Germany, Belgium, and the United States.


As its definition indicates, it comes from the Greek language (anthropómorphos) to Latin (anthropomorphos) and then to our language. That Greek word is the result of the sum of two clearly differentiated elements

-The noun “anthropos”, which can be translated as “human being”.
-The word "morphe", which is synonymous with "figure".

The concept of anthropomorphic allows qualifying that which has a human appearance or form. The idea of anthropomorphism, for its part, alludes to the granting of human characteristics to an object, a plant or an animal. 67222811
