After literary studies he exercised various professions.
He first practiced drawing. Representing imaginary subjects and featuring more or less monstrous characters drawn realistically.
From 1974 to 1975 he studied wood sculpture at the School of Fine Arts in Paris; but this technique does not meet his expectations.
He also practices a little acrylic and oil painting but his great revelation was the discovery of watercolor in 1983
“Whereas before I considered it a minor technique, it quickly hooked me”.
With his watercolors Alain AZEMAR will participate in many exhibitions from 1985
Group exhibitions and fairs such as: The Salon of the National Society of Fine Arts in Paris, Salon of the French School
Regional fairs: Sèvres, Ville d’Avray, Versailles…
Personal exhibitions: The Gallery of the Jail in Versailles, Galerie Médicis in Paris, Galerie Tuffier in Andelys, Evreux
