Matford, a joint venture between Ford (USA) and Mathis (FR) only existed a few years during the 1930s and 1940s. At the time, this model was one of the most advanced French vehicles in terms of design, thanks to American styling influences.

It is powered by Ford's famous and powerful 72-type V8 engine, which is smooth and quiet in operation, but with great acceleration capability. According to the original catalogue, this vehicle could reach 130 km/h.

This vehicle features an attractive 'Decouvrable' bodywork with a sliding canvas top, which is easy to fold down and offers the comfort of a saloon when closed.

The car has been completely restored and made new, with a brand-new interior and a new soft canvas hood. It has long been owned by the same owner in Spain, who restored it.

The vehicle is ready to drive, and for example, it comes with a set of five Michelin Classic tyres with little wear. It is registered as a Historic Vehicle in Spain and has a valid MOT, so it is ready to drive anywhere. It is started up almost daily for proper maintenance. Very smooth and correct operation.

This vehicle can be viewed and picked up in San Sebastian de los Reyes, Madrid, Spain.

Auctions bids do not include transport or export unless otherwise stated. 67428895
