Cesara Mottironi ( Milan 1889 - 1982 ) is known for her participation in numerous Lombard artistic events. We recall the following Biennials of Brera, the "Social" group exhibitions of the "Permanente" in Milan, the exhibition "Paesaggio Varesino" in Varese. She participated in exhibitions of women's painting in Bordighera (Imperia) and in the Mostra degli Artisti Lombardi which was held at Villa Olmo in Como.
She was a member of the Accademia Tiberina in Rome.
He participated in the UCM exhibition in Naples, in the sacred art exhibitions in Bergamo and Cremona and in those of the Angelicum.
In this painting it depicts a female figure, probably a nun, reading. inside a kiosk of a Milanese church. Signed lower left.
