Elegant and refined Murano glass mirror ca. 1900.
This very precious piece of antiques belonged to the Primo Dancer Etoile of the Teatro Dell'Opera in Rome.
In ancient times the art of dance was a very expensive discipline and the poverty of the times did not allow everyone to practice it. A dancer, born and raised in the popular neighborhood of San Lorenzo and then Garbatella in Rome, was taken under the wing of a nobleman of the time who gave him this mirror.
Being an ancient object and having more than a second of history, it has slight signs of aging visible in the photos, it has been restored and a small side of the mirror has a crack.
Insured and tracked shipping.
