Beautiful, very large page from the legendary album 'Alerte sur le Fleuve / Onraad op de Rivier ', made for the weekly magazine Spirou / Spirou in 1963 and published in album in 1964 (Dupuis).
Coloring in watercolor on the back.
Indian ink on thick drawing paper.
The page is in very good condition. With the original French texts. Characteristic of that period is that these texts were written on drawing sheets with pre-printed lines, such as those produced by Dupuis at the time, to make it easier for the artists.
Many drawings from the Robbedoes stable are therefore known, made on drawing sheets with these blue lines, such as e.g. from Frankin.
