Binding (publisher) in half-leather with corners, smooth spine with gilt title, gilt fillet on the covers and corners, marbled covers with title in the center of the first cover in a colored oval with art deco motifs.
Rubbing and wear from use (not serious) on the corners, borders, and at the top and tail of the back, interior in good general condition, some doodles on the endpapers. It is complete with all its cards. This imposing and heavy work is very often offered in poor condition because it has been used a lot, with lack of engravings especially in the maps, here it is in good general condition, healthy and solid, the sheets are mounted on tabs.
With numerous photographs in black in-text, full-page or double-page color maps.
