This is an original Dutch-delivered XJS V12 facelift model and was delivered new by Jaguar dealer Kimman Amsterdam.
The car is in original condition and still has its first paint! The paintwork shows some signs of wear here and there, which is to be expected on a car that is 30 years old.
The interior is also very neat and is still original. The seats and back seat have been additionally painted in the past in the correct original colour.
With regard to its technique, the XJS does everything properly. The silky-smooth V12 runs smoothly and the automatic transmission shifts smoothly.
Some points of attention: the speed control does not work - the lock in the glove box and in the boot lid are missing - the driver's seat side cover is missing - a corner piece of the right rear light is gone - and some cosmetic points to note.
This car has had 5 owners, the odometer reading is logical and correct.
In the past year, more than € 7,000 worth of maintenance was carried out:
- New oil cooler + pipes
- New air conditioning condenser + fluid
- New radiator
- Overhauled steering box
- Rims repainted and aligned
- New period correct Pirelli tyres!
- Front wheel bearing replaced
- Various other activities carried out.
The car is in neat condition with room for improvement here and there.
