Wonderful and elegant jar made entirely of lead crystal with handle in 800 silver (as per its hallmark) of refined Italian workmanship and dating back to the 19th century as can be seen from the silver hallmark which bears the engraving of the initials (800) without the oval and the mark of the ancient Bolognese silversmith (BO), according to legislation and regulations in force from 1872 to 1932.
The jar has a fine crystal workmanship with elegant facets and engravings on the bottom, perfectly intact and with an extraordinary shine and transparency.
The handle made of solid silver has a beautiful cast chiselling.
Of considerable size and weight: maximum height 17.5 cm - maximum diameter 9 cm - weight 754 grams.
In very good condition, it does not have any defects, chips or missing parts.
