The Historia di Trogo Pompeio is a Roman history written by Gaius Justinus Trogo, a Roman historian and senator of the 2nd century AD. The story covers the period from the founding of Rome until the death of Pompey the Great, a Roman general and politician who lived in the first century BC. Trogo's work is known for its historical accuracy and its detailed description of the characters and events of the time. However, only a small fraction of his oeuvre has survived, and most of his history has been lost.
