What you see in our photos is a beautiful Beardman, depicted by us as he was found. It has some hairline cracks, but has never been glued and is still firmly put together. The sound is good when you tap it, but we still want the hairline cracks mentioned. Therefore depicted as it was found. It has had a few taps on the edge of the neck and also a few small dents at the bottom. (see right under the ear)
All in all a beautiful Bearded Man, originally as it was made.
This object was bought by us years ago from a collector, of whom we still know that the Beardman was found in the ground near Leiden. Privately owned.
