A model in cut crystal from the beginning of the last century, Molière is listed in the Baccarat catalog of Tableware of 1916.
Marrying a form widely used by the crystal factory, sober and slender, the glasses are cut with a subtle wavy frieze from which elegantly distributed drops descend.
It is quite easy to find, and can be restocked without difficulty. It has two cousins, not to be confused, and rarer: the Ronsard model, whose drops are distributed more regularly and less tight around the glass, and the Corneille model, which is the exact replica of the Ronsard but with the frieze in down and the drops going up.
