Antique clock set Hubert Bequet consisting of a pendulum with a reclining sheepdog on top of the pendulum, with a matching vase, the size of the vase is 19 cm high and 10 cm wide. The objects are made of ceramics.
Both have the blind hallmark H18 (see photos).
The whole is made in Art Deco style between 1934 and 1949. The set is decorated with relief and polychrome under-glaze hand painting of flowers.
The colors used are beautiful. The France movement of the clock is made of brass.
The movement does not run, needs to be checked. The key is present.
It is also always possible to replace the movement.
This particularly beautiful set was made in the ceramics factory of Hubert Bequet in Quaregnon, Belgium. This famous factory only existed from 1934 to 1963.
