Solomon intent on following the work of his temple
The Bible narrates that Solomon, king of the then only Kingdom of Israel, worked at the beginning of his reign to give substance to his father's ideas, and prepared other materials for construction.
From quarries in Jerusalem itself he had large blocks of stone and granite extracted for the foundations and retaining walls of the Temple.
These stones were prepared on site under the supervision of the expert builders of Tyre. 66601579
