A beautiful work of art by the Dutch artist Wim Burger (1913-1999). With a new wooden frame, an acid-free passe partout and an anti-reflective glass. Signed left and dated 1964. The image size is 49 cm. x 59cm. The condition of the artwork is good. The work can be viewed at Kunsthandel Martins in Wolvega and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Biography:
Wim Burger: lived and worked in Amsterdam. Student of the Free Academy (model) of Jos Rovers (figure and still life) and of W.A. Wassenaar (landscape). Received a government scholarship in 1965 and visited Israel, Italy, Yugoslavia, Spain, France, etc. Painted, watercolored and drew (also drawings in O.I. ink and gouaches) in figurative style landscapes, town views, panoramas and figures. Made particularly surprising and attractive drawings.
