Selling here is a nice example of JAlfred De Musset's, Les Deux Maitresses'. Illustrated throughout by Cerutti, including 10 full page illustrations. Limited edition of 500 numbered copies printed on Vélin de Marais, with wide margins, this being number 42. Loose as issued in the original wraps.
Condition: The binding has wear and light edge loss, bumping to head/tail and all four corners. A few small nicks. Toned and with some light spotting. Protected in the original glassine wrapper. Contents: In good order, occasional light spotting and with page edges rough. A few leaves creased to top margin. Blindstamp to corner of last leaf. A nice example overall.
