Garelli's twin-cylinder two-stroke common-hamber kept its original creator's principle of operation until production in the 1930s.
This Garelli M 107 is the model produced after the First World War, which can be seen from the positioning of its magneto in front of the cylinders.
In addition, it has a 2-speed integral gearbox, a simplified version of the gearbox designed by Adalberto Garelli for Bianchi and a final chain drive.
The motorcycle incorporates characteristics of the Turismo and Gran Sport models, such as the footpegs and fenders of the former, and the sport handlebar of the latter.
Note the absence of a front brake, which became standard only after a year or two.
Curiously though, there are two brake pedals (one per side) which operated the rear brake.
